FAQs
Can you help me work out the details with my insurance company?
Yes, we’ll be glad to make the necessary phone callsĀ and take care of the details.
My insurance company says I have to go with a different shop for my windshield replacement. Is this true?
No. Oregon State law (ORS 746.280) specifies that an insurer may not require that you take your vehicle to a particular shop as a condition for payment of the repairs.
Can my windshield be repaired, or does it need replaced?
With rock chips, we can repair most that are smaller than a quarter and not in the driver’s line-of-vision. In other cases, safety requires that the windshield be replaced.

What information do you need to bill my insurance?
We will simply need the name and policy number of your auto insurance provider to bill your insurance.
Is there a difference between OE & aftermarket glass?
Generally, no. Most vehicle manufacturers purchase glass from the auto glass manufacturer that can provide them with the best price. All auto glass manufacturers selling product in the United States are required to meet or exceed the rigorous standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). Replacing glass with the exact original brand of glass installed at the factory does not in any way add to safety, is almost always more expensive, and is not always readily available.
